This Month's Review: Botanical Disinfecting Wipes
Germs... say hello to my little friend! This month we review the new multi-surface disinfecting wipes from Seventh Generation!
This month we tested Seventh Generation multi-surface disinfecting wipes. This seems like the perfect product review this month. Cold and flu germs are in season. A lot of folks hacking and sniffling around the office. Plus, I have a confession. I'm one of those people who eats lunch at my desk every day. Yep, I'm the one with crumbs in my keyboard and sticky spots on my desk. Gross, right?
The manufacturer states these wipes clean and disinfect in one easy step. And they use a botanical disinfectant made from essential oils. And you can even use them on food contact surfaces... like my desk! According to Seventh Generation, these disinfecting multi-surface wipes kill 99.99 percent of household germs botanically and are effective against cold and flu viruses. Included in the list are Influenza A viruses, Rhinovirus, MRSA, staphylococcus, and salmonella. Nasty little microbes. |
I cannot say whether the wipes hit the 99.99% mark. I am not a scientist or laboratory type. Just a person who eats at their desk and wants to avoid getting sick. I will say that the wipes clean effectively, did not leave any residue or streaks, and smell botanical - Lemongrass Citrus scent to be exact. You can use them on countertops, appliances, garbage cans, and door knobs (which I did), and as a result I feel better protected against getting sick. Also, I like the fact that I'm not using harsh chemicals to get the job done.
I'm giving my botanical buddies a rating of... 4.5 out of 5 stars!
