This Month's Review: KIND Pressed Fruit Bars
We're impressed by these pressed fruit bars - and we're not just being KIND.
Pineapple Coconut Chia, Mango Apple Chia, Apple Pear Carrot Beet – those are the three flavors of Kind Pressed Fruit Bars we sampled for this month’s product review. (It’s about time we got to eat something, right?)
You can tell right away these are healthy snacks. “Made with only fruit and veggies, no genetically engineered ingredients, low sodium, no preservatives, good source of fiber, gluten free, no sugar added, 2 servings of fruit.” That’s the kind of things you’ll see all over the packaging. And Chia? Aren’t those the pets that grow grass hair that you get as a gag gift at the office holiday party? Okay, gotta admit we weren’t expecting to like these very much. Well we’re here to say that they weren’t that bad…in fact they were pretty good. They have the consistency of dried fruit — sweet and chewy. They’re a heck of a lot healthier than a candy bar or a bag of chips from the vending machine and they’re good for you.

We liked the Mango Apple Chia the best of the three but you might find the Pineapple Coconut Chia or the Apple Pear Carrot Beet more to your liking.
