Staying warm this winter

Are you always layered up in the winter and sometimes can't seem to get warm?  Do you base your outfits gauging how chilly it will be in the office? If you're like me (you may not be), your hands are always ice cold. 

Here are some tried and true strategies for staying warm this winter, from one cold-blooded person to another. 

• Invest in a space heater. (First check if your office allows this!) This way, the heat is concentrated in the area you need and you can easily turn it on or off.
• Buy a mug warmer or candle warmer. Candle warmers serve a dual purpose. Heat your candle for some fragrance, or keep your coffee--and consequently your core temperature--warm.
• Cuddle up with a fleece blanket at your desk. Who says you can't? It's way cozy and you feel just like you're working from home.
• Keep some hot chocolate on hand. Because drinking hot chocolate brings warm memories, and you can trick your brain into warming your body up.
