Here's a solution that any well-traveled warrior can appreciate.
At first glance it looks like a typical carry-on suitcase, mounted on two wheels with a comfortable padded handle on top for carrying and a telescoping handle hidden inside a zippered pocket for use when rolling. It's well put together and exhibits great maneuverability whether dragging it behind or pushing it in front of you through a crowded airport.
It;s when you unzip the back pocket that the real magic of this rolling case appears - a cleverly designed pull-out desk for the ultimate in portable office convenience. Top put the desk in action you simply pull out a stabilizing base hidden at the bottom of the case, then lift up on the plastic desk top surface and flip it into a horizontal position. I locks in place and there you have it - an instant desk surface for your laptop or tablet. There's a little sway when typing, but overall we found the work surface to be sturdy and secure to work on. Granted, you wouldn't want to work an 8-hour shift from this portable desk, but hey, that's not what it's intended for. It's designed to orrer a comfortable work surface alternative to your lap when polishing up that big presentation at the aiport gate, your customer's lobby or physician's waiting room. Perhaps a future improvement would provide for an additional height setting adjustment, but overall we found the Bond St. Traveldesk to be a well designed and attractive solution for working on-the-go.
We give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
